Driving down country roads where everybody waves Stopping to talk with a friend about the passing days Starting to get the hang of it, its starting to settle in A simple life for some, for Simpleton, a simple Zen Good People Strange Places, to free my soul I didn’t even know, its what I was looking for Good people strange places, to free my soul To free my soul, give me something to live for Going to keep on driving to see what’s around the way Gotta see what this next mountain may have to say It’s interesting how these folks are living round here Let’s get down on some local food and drink some of that local beer! (Chorus) A smile from a stranger could be worth at least 20 bucks Worth much more if you’ve been down on your luck Worth at least 20 words if you’re language isn’t the same Sometimes it’s the only thing to say, ‘cause words just get in the way I’m smiling, ‘cause I aint seen nothing shine like this before (Chorus) This country’s just some concrete laid in lines Need to ride these roads, connect a few more minds Well then leave the wheels, let your feet take you if you can You’re bound to hear more stories, going to shake a lot more hands I want to hear more stories, I want to shake a lot more hands I’m smiling, cause I ain’t seen nothing shine like this before (Chorus)

Good Dog 03:48
Good Dog, what would I do without a friend like you? Good Dog, I’m grateful to spend a life with you. Your whole world is from a dog’s eye view Some couches you can lay on, other times you gotta get off Sometimes your leash must be on, when it’s safe I’ll let you off That’s a lot for a dog to understand, half the time you obey my commands Breaks my heart every time you run away, but when you’re running to me it makes my day, You’re a… (Chorus) Some road trips you can come on, other times you gotta stay home Some things are alright to chew on, other things you gotta leave alone You can chew on bones, and rawhides, dead animals must be left behind And most sticks are fine in your mouth, but not the firewood when it’s in the house That’s a lot for a dog to understand, half the time you obey my commands When we have guests please put your tongue away, I know you gotta groom and that’s your way You’re a… (Chorus) Scratch at the door when you want to go out, bark at the door when you want to come in Get attention, lay down on the floor, and 10 minutes later you’re gonna do it all again I often wonder what you dream about when your legs are a’ wigglin’ and twitch’in your snout Chasing the squirrels and romps in the woods, we’ll go there soon cause you’re so good Chasing squirrels and romps in the woods, we’ll go there soon because you’re so good Good Dog, what would I do without a friend like you Good Dog, I grateful to spend a life with you You’re whole world’s from a dog’s eye view You make me smile when I’m feeling blue, oh what would I do without a friend like you. Yeah you’re such a good dog, You’re such a good dog, what would I do Chasing squirrels and romps in the woods, we’ll go there soon because you’re so good

Big Cat 03:11
Big Cat stalking through town tonight, The deer are laying low and the fox are staying in their hole, Silhouette creeping through the rocky moonlight And the people on their couches don’t know Fat cat tracks in the pasture out back horses been spooked and the owl doesn’t give a hoot Something keeping secrets by the shadows of the shack headed towards the town by river route Mountain kitty pouncing playful with the field mice Dogs are barking in the yard, thinking that they’re keeping guard She might be cute, but that kitty isn’t nice Big lion, she stares hard Mountain lion mamma walking under street lights Looking at the homes and the people chattin’ on their phones Mountain lion mamma with a glisten in her eye Night’s slippin’, better get going Big cat shining in the morning sun Walks with pride because she’s the queen of the night People come stumblin’ with their tranquilizer guns and She runs for the hills tail high She runs for the hills head high

Fingerprints in the dust, footprints in the sand Music in some ears, and money in some hands Face in some memories, besos on cheeks Love in some hearts, indentations on seats Scribbles on paper, and calls on some phones Smoke in some lungs from some visits to homes Dirt on the floor and words in the air Bottlecaps on the table and The beats that are bouncing everywhere (Chorus) I’m leaving things behind Picking up things along the way Whether I mean to or not These are my marks upon the day When it’s traveling time Looking for a way to get away This land on which I roam I try to leave no trace Seeds in the garden, trees on the land Sweat on some shirts, and trash in some cans Rocks in some pockets, ideas in some heads Sleeping on a floor dreaming of a nice bed Burnt out lightbulbs, old guitar strings Broken drumsticks, sawdust from carvings Speaking opinions and spilling my mind If I drop my heart don’t let me leave it behind (Chorus) Initials in the concrete, not in the bark Tags on the trains, not in the park Tickets at the door and shouts at the show Empty glasses at the bar, high fives to my bros Nicks in the paint job, dents in the car Cracks in the windshield from falling stars Echoes in canyons, and ripples in lakes Whispers in wind, try to return what I take I’m leaving things behind Picking up things along the way Whether I mean to or not These are my marks upon the day When it’s traveling time I’ve got to leave this campsite clean Ashes from burnt branches Used to fuel the dreams

Sky Mindz 03:56
Well, the moon was high and a clear sky is always right If you’re going to have a meaning then you’ve got to do it right Constellations stay constant and you know they make you think Is there any kind of order or did we evolve to become extinct I once lived under water now I forget the smell of rain As life’s getting longer I’m becoming much more sane I need to see more perspectives of this multi viewed world So I can formulate my precious piece of sand into a pearl It’s a bu-bumpy road and there’s no telling where it will lead I’ve got the north star wiggling its way up my sleeve How can things get old, stale boring and unexciting When this day has never happened, I’ve never written what I’m writing Got to appreciate this new moment in the light Examining these thoughts dripping into my sight I’m only human trying to achieve a higher sense of enlightenment This existence is expensive and I’m paying spiritual rent Just like you know you’ll get wet if you dance in the rain If you fall in love in could lead to pain But if you find balance with your inner beauty and outer beast Only then can civilization and nature make peace I was rolling with the river, and I was falling with the rain You know the river’s rising while it’s carving new terrain Sediment flowing to the ocean from the highest mountain peaks Existence is a puzzle, my experience jus a piece. I need the sun to process the darkness to create a future from my past through my song so we can get on Changing season’s bringing about a lot of shit to be thinking about Got my head up in the clouds trying to figure the weather out I need to be allowed to run around and say what I think out loud I need as much time alone as I do in front of a crowd I need to stay in the here and now and help others do the same But how can I be setting clocks if I have no timeframe I think I’d make an impact if the bomb could reach my brain I’m trying to shake the picture right out of the picture frame Don’t know what the people say, but I’m conversating with the river and stars Having a drink with the patrons down at the gravel bar When I’m stumbling home luckily I needn’t stumble far Hopefully toward the tent not the Catfish and Gar I’m sittin on a log, playing for frogs, owls and armadillos Joined by the Cicadas up in the weeping willows Sitting by the fire, watching smoke billow Looking at the stars, rocks are my pillows I need the moon to process the day to create my future from my past through my song So we can get on Changing thoughts bringing about a lot of shit talk out loud Another summer down and the movement still hasn’t moved out Storms been hanging around, I’ve been chasing it from the ground But this lightening has no flash or sound, how can that be allowed Driving that snowplow pushing the powder off the trails Before the end of the line I knew I’d done enough rails Wanted to be a bird but I ended up a snail Feeling like a hammer in motion never to touch a nail But then I set sail Climb a mountain or a tree Leave behind heavy greed, taking only what you need Gotta like the motto, “be all that you can be” I’m not a militant, I plant seeds. I need the sun to photosynthesis to create a flower for our species to grow strong! I need the sun, I need the moon

Gnarly and twisted the wind splits a path Below fungus fruits and the mosses lay mats A shield of bark only hangs from one side And this old tree is still reaching for the sky Folk and the Old Tree Poem Chipmunk’s chattin about the log he calls home Leaves do the breathing while the roots find a meal Lightning always strikes all alone on this hill Tell it like you see it if you trust in your eyes Tell it like they told it if you trust in the wise Tell it like the star constellations in the skies And out of the darkness some truth will surprise In times of suppression you gotta take it underground Hide it in the mountains where they’ll never track it down Plant it for the children and sing on every hill The Folk are alive, here to love and fulfill Folk and the Old Tree Poem Looking at the stars wondering how we found home Earth needed eyes and the folk needed word Then we danced to the things that we heard Well, time passes and the stories grow long They thicken and they widen and they carry on strong They might lose their meaning if the folks lose their heads But the universe remembers every word that was said The teachers may be cactus, the teachers may be vines There will be no textbook, it’s spoken in your mind Movement and the healing ceremonies and the songs Helps the tree branches and the roots to grow strong Folk and the Old Tree Peom Looking at the stars wondering how we found home Earth needed eyes and the folk needed word Then we danced to the things that we heard

On this sacred land in the mountains Travelers from far and wide We’ll meet there in the middle by the fountain Drinking from this cup cause it will never run dry I’m showing up open and honest I’m showing up with balance in mind I’m showing up with praise for the Goddess Gifts from the Earth open rifts through time (Chorus) And we’ll meet there on this wild misty mountain Where the truth seekers in a circle sing We’ll make music on this misty mountain Walk into the wild with what you bring I’m trusting in plant spirits They teach me how to heal and how to work good I’m still learning how to hear it How to navigate the patterns like water and wood Reflecting through the eyes in the mirror Responsible for my own choices Safe in this circle of love warriors Medicine choir of intentional voices (Chorus) Love tribe growing flowers in space Lets do our part and commune with the moon Sun and Earth vibrate through my face Ego has passed, return to the womb. Earth mamma, teach me to be soft Silent snow in the wild it falls I can see your songs dancing aloft From peak to peak down through canyon walls. (Chorus)

Illusions 04:27
(Chorus) Burning my illusions away Burning my illusions away Burning my illusions away Burning all delusions today Fires are burning inside my soul Comforts are up in flames and smoke Inferno burning through my fears Reality accepted through tears Flames reflecting up in my eyes Temperatures continue to rise Over hilltops embers blow As the mighty river continues to flow Yesterday’s life provides the fuel Germinating seeds for renewal After the first rain it’ll be green More vibrant than I’ve ever seen (Chorus) And every masterpiece must burn In the moment we continue to learn She burns us brightly with her eyes Blinding bliss filled with surprise Egos are all gonna catch flame Peaceful spirits need never be tamed Spinners of fire highlight the notion Of human intent set in motion We dance and we drum around the flame we maintain Never twice will dance quite the same And just when we think that we have it mastered It turns to ashes even faster (Chorus)
10.
Break the step press reset Slow the pace society sets Vibrate at your own speed Adjust frequency as you need Notice color and tone Inner chi is you in your home Mind control machine wheels Once outside the box truth reveals (Chorus) Come on step outta line Climb up the hill to reveal The scene you dreamed before birth Come on step outta line Refine your needs What greeds complicate your plate, don’t feed ‘em! As below so above Life with vibrational love love love Mystical sneaky beats Unlock new doors to dance your feet Look on through look on in Search for answers how’d it begin? Just to be, just to breath Capable of high frequencies (Chorus) Don’t be afraid to swirl, curve and swiggle, wiggle and curl Explore whatever way You’re not required to march today Don’t conform to mainstream This side channel is interesting Think for yourself, decide How do you spend your time alive? (Chorus)
11.
Rise Above 01:45
Reach within and rise above Balance your breath, shift your gaze up Look within and visualize love We’re all one this is what we’re made of What we make together when we shake I get enough What we make together when we shake I get enough Will a vision and manifest up Anything your brain can conceive of Pure intentions a folkedelic flood Creating this world which is lit by love What we make together when we shake I get enough What we make together when we shake I get enough

Seeker, look behind your eyes The mystery’s getting’ bigger, source intentions a surprise We’ve got more and more people realizing they’ve been deceived More and more people are defining what they believe We’ve got the power to make a change Got to seek to find and be free We’ve got more and more people gathering peacefully More and more people gathering peacefully Traveler, what’s dreaded in your locks? Characters of the faces abstract in the rocks We’ve got more and more people finding boulders in their voice More and more people living love as their choice We’ve got the power to make a change Got to seek to find and be free We’ve got more and more people gathering peacefully More and more people gathering peacefully Farmer, do you have soil or do you have dirt? Is it a source of enlightenment, or is it a source of hurt? We’ve got more and more people with their hands in the ground More and more people are making their own sounds We’ve got the power to make a change Got to seek to find to be free We’ve got more and more people gathering peacefully More and more people gathering peacefully We are going through a change We’ve got to seek to find and we’ll see How we can light up the world by meditating peacefully Light up the world by vibrating blissfully How we can light up the world by meditating peacefully How we can light up the world by vibrating blissfully
